I used aloSIM on a recent trip to Europe. Installation was easy. I also used the sister-service, Hushed, for a phone number that I could use in Europe without roaming charges. Installing the Hushed phone number was a bit difficult but customer support for both aloSIM and Hushed was excellent. Connecting to the e-SIM when I arrived was easy & connections were fast and reliable. The price for 15 days, 2GB was extremely reasonable. aloSIM was a much better option than swapping physical SIM cards.

Very unreliable, slow speeds. In Vietnam & Colombia only 2G service - useless for data. In 3 other countries, usually less than 10Mbps, never more than 20Mbps. Local physical SIM cards in each case delivered faster speeds for less money. Only in one case the install & connection worked automatically. Customer service is friendly & responds quickly, but unable to solve there technology issues. I switched to another provider - easier & more reliable ...

Worked perfectly as described. Only minor hiccup was when we flew from the UK to Portugal, when I turned phone back on did not connect to local provide immediately. I had to turn off the sim card and turn it back on . Once I did that worked flawlessly in Portugal as well. We were both in the north (Porto & Duoro) as well as in Lisbon and Cascais
